Thread: Billet aluminum pulleys - Let's continue on, shall we?

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by TR Custom Parts
Since the thread was locked on the tech section about the billet pulleys we are now selling due to the non tech postings let's continue on here. I find it a little disturbing that I have to prove where parts are made that I sell for my various suppliers but since a few trouble makers like gnbooster87 aka marred4life needs to stir the pot, here ya go. If I say a part is made in the US it is...

Hey Mark I wonder if they could cut the IAC holes at an angle so the folks that need to use the angle boss would be set the factory stuff just bolts up and its allready at the angle to clear. This would also make removing, cleaning, etc of the IAC easier.

I think they look good and the arguments against you from others are really stupid. I gotta agree with them just being pullys. It would be like firestone crying about goodyear making tires. Who knows, maybe they did when they first started (whoever was first did, that is) and now looking back I bet they would feel really silly. I just placed my first order with you the other day and am ...

Looks like a capable shop to me. It would be nice to see someone actually try one of these products before deciding to bash it.

I can see this is going nowhere at this point. Like I have said repeatedly, if you like em buy em. If you don't, well.....don't. Oh yeah, had an idea to complete the pulley setup and should have that ready soon. And this will go from idea to reality in about two weeks time or so. Got better things to do so I am done here. Thanks for everyones' support except for a couple detractors. Maybe they can find someone else to bother....

OK...we don't have to try and use nationallity for an insult. Does not matter if he is Mexican, Jamacian, Indian, or White. That makes zero difference. If you believe otherwise you should probably keep that too yourself. Stupid is as stupid does...

Jay, I have a 3.0 block (?) thats looks just like a 3.8 from and 84/85 car with a girdle that came from Buick and was supposed to be from some Bonneville program Buick was doing. I was told that Smokey was involved but that was never possibly backed up by anyone until now. I bought it because I thought it was a cool piece of history and it was cheap. This is the oldest girdle I know of, thanks for the info. Mike
