Harris? NO *beep* way.
Bettany was way better, but neither was in my top 20 that year.

Pictures and my life.
Bettany deserved major consideration for A Knight's Tale and was, in my opinion, seriously snubbed for Master and Commander . But I don't think he really deserved a nod for A Beautiful Mind . He was certainly good but it wasn't an exceptional role. And Ed Harris wasn't particularly memorable.

They were really good, but they don't even make my top 10.
If I grew up on a farm, and was retarded, an Oscar might impress me, but I didn't, so it doesn't.
Bettany was great, but he's been better. Harris, on the other hand, fu*king rocks this film.
I could get behind a nod for him.

Not even a little bit. Though in the hugely crappy year that was 2001, Bettany probably wouldn't be too far off.
