Thread: Best premise for part 2??

No Khan. No Borg. I sereiously would love to see the Klingons as the major adversaries. And see some great space battles. Not word up---just WORD.

Agreed. And that's just it. I think anyone trying to overdue him would fail. Ricardo IS (or was)Khan-and shouldn't be copied or redone. Not word up---just WORD.

Since my major peeve with the first film is that Kirk goes from cadet to captain in about 36 hours, in the second film I want to see him busted down to crewman and have to work his way back up. Any good villain will do, except maybe the Klingons. We saw too much of them in the later series. * * * FedEx just took NINE days to send me an "overnight" package. * * *

Agreed on the Khan and Borg thing. Klingons have already had their heyday. There needs to be a new race, one never seen before. I would like to see something done with multiverses or black/white holes, but I doubt it'll ever happen.

For me: No Khan. No Borg. No Klingons or Romulans. I'd MUCH rather see one of the many other species that are out there used in some interesting way. Orions, Gorn, Tholians, or something else. There are plenty of really cool aliens from the original series that have had precious little screen time, yet should be major players. I'd like to see more aliens on the crew, too. And I'd like ...
