Thread: Best non-latex condoms?

Started 5 months ago by WonderWhat
Mrs. W is allergic to latex, and we just ran out of the stash we brought since we moved to the US; it's a brand we can't get over here. So, we're looking for a substitute. Which non-latex condom do you prefer? Do you know of any that approach the stretchiness of latex? (We've read about the SKYN brand, which is polyisoprene instead of polyurethane, but haven't tried it yet) Do any of ...

We have several friends who are allergic to latex, to include Kat herself. When getting condoms, we tend to try to stick with Trojan Supra, although before that we used a Durex Sensation (was the only kind we ever found). As far as an internal condom for the ladies, we haven't managed to find one yet.

Lifestyles "Skyn" non-latex condoms are better in our opinion. Trojan Supra a close second. Durex Avanti too much like a plastic bag.

Durex has a new one that they call Avanti "Bare": Amazon.com: Durex Avanti Bare: 12-Pack of Condoms: Health & Personal Care I'm ordering a pack to try them out.

Mrs. Oly is also latex sensitive and so far the only kind available locally for us has been the Trojan Supras. I have always felt that these were the "plastic bag condoms". They get the job done but they sure are not comparable to an ultra-thin latex condom. It scares me to hear there might be worse. Mr.Oly

The Avanti Bare condoms- tried them and found them very similar to the Skyn version. Any one else?

Another thing I forgot to mention, thank you for still using condoms despite her allergy. We've ran across a few couples that go bare back because of this allergy! Scary stuff, IMO.

The SKYNN for some reason made things "dry".
