I have a foster dog who is only 1 year old but already has arthritis due to angular limb deformity.  She has had 2 surgeries as of today to try to correct this, however a complete correction is not possible, so not only does she have twisted/deformed bones in her foot, she will also have 2 breaks from the surgery.  Other than glucosamine supplements, does anyone have ...

Welcome to the board. The best things that you can do for a dog with her issues is to 1. keep her weight on the lower side so that joint impact is minimized and 2. keep her on the glucosamine/chondroiten supplement. The foods that have glucosamine in them generally do not have enough to be therapeutic, they are more for marketing purposes than anything. Another thing you can add is omega 3 ...

My Holistic Vet put Kibo on Arthrisoothe Gold & he has done REALLY well on it  :)
