I want to add a little to my 2001 F350 Crew Cab but only a 2-3.5". What is the best complete kit out there that wont be too soft when I load it up. Are the shackle kits OK?

No experience, but was recommend this company for just a "little" lift, ie leveling kit: http://www.maxx-lift.com/ I emailed the owner and he explained his product to me and was very helpful. Said it was the highest lift you could get from a leveling kit. (or something like that) J.D.

Not sure I like how they lift the front! Sketchy to me. I'll error on the safe side.

What is it about it that scares you? Just curious. I'd like to level my truck in the near future and would like to be as informed as possible. J.D.

I bought this 3 weeks ago for about $220 shipped from SKY'S OFFROAD and Im very happy with it. Well built and doesnt change your spring rates. It was a bastard to install and I even have all the tools; lift, jacks, and porta-power (helped a lot). You definetly want to extend your panhard bar or buy an adjustable one. I ran without a panhard and it was sketchy because the axle would ...

Mine's up 4 inches with a Pro Comp lift (I think). I've very happy with it. Rides great, tows fine. Fits 35's just fine. Big Dave rode in it this weekend and said it rides just like his stock truck.

Pro Comp has a really nice riding spring for the Superdutys. Fabtech has a shackle kit that uses your factory springs. Through a set of Bilstein shocks on there, and it'll ride really nicely.

I ran the Procomp 4 inch the day I bought my 04 stroker. Till about a year ago. The front started to S curve the springs from axle wrap. I ran 37's with some front fender trim. I bought the 6in pro comp this past summer and run 40"s on some 20x9s.

Oh, maybe I'm wrong, but his question came before you posted a picture of your crawler. You've covered all the bases anyway! J.D.

Some places/states have them outlawed. I'd...

Haha, yeah, I was refering to the SD. I have 35's on my SD with 3.73's and I the gearing leaves a little to be desired. But a side note, you've got 4.7's in both cases? That's crazy low. What's the crawl ratio like 500:1?

its weird how different years of of superduties; or even different assembly plants resulted in different height trucks. my 02 with stock suspension looks the same as most of the 2" lift pictures. Sitting on the metric equivalent of 35's as well.

FWIW i have the same RE leveling kit that clint has, only ours is an F350 so we didn't need to buy the blocks, it sits great and rides nice with 285/75-18 (35x11.5-18) Here's what it looked like stock with the stock 16" wheels & 32" tires and after the RE lift 18" wheels & 35's
