I have never even been intrested in the 9mm as a CCW option. My logic up till now has always been; why carry a bulky 9mm when a thin and small .380, is almost just as good. Or better yet a sub compact .40. But I recently got a chance to shoot a friends Kel-Tec 9mm. It has totally changed my thinking. I am acctually shopping for a slim line 9mm for CCW carry. I am down to either a Kel Tec P-...
How much do you want to spend?
HK P2000SK, which is like your P2000 only smaller,
The Sig 239 is a single stack 9mm.
Then there are the Kahr P9 and MK9 series.
If you want really thin and want to own a great shooter with collectors value too, get an HK P7. Very awesome, thing gun that was the first of its kind in many ways. Very accurate and reliable and the fastest gun to cock and ...

The Kel-Tec PF9 is the smallest 9mm that I have found. I have been looking at them as well and have yet to find a more compact pistol. I am still searching for a smaller or same size from a different company but I have yet to see anything coming close.
azguy,
Between the 9x19 and the 380 is the 9x18 makarov. I carry the extremely light and thin titanium/aluminum FEG PA-63 in this round. I also installed the ClipDraw and retired my Galco IWB holster. This is my "always carry" piece, it's very comfortable and a breeze to conceal. Clipdraw… For Secure Carry Without a Holster
Here's an article: Handgunns | FEG PA-63

If you don't mind shopping the used market, I can recommend the Star M-43 Firestar. It's the smallest 9mm I've found that is still comfortable to fire. It has a steel frame, and is heavier than it looks, so the recoil isn't bad. It's smaller than many 380 pistols.
It was also available in 40 S&W as the M-40, and (a bit larger) in 45 ACP as the M-45.

Do you have one? If so how do you like it?
Ive never shot one but Ive heard lots of mixed reviews as to its high cost and reliability problems.
I have a KelTec PF9 and I carry it all the time either in a IWB or in an ankle holster. It's a great little gun, but the long trigger pull (by some people's standards) takes some getting used to. Contrary to popular conception, it does not have a "heavy" trigger pull, just a looooonnnnng one.
The KelTec PF9 is the smallest, lightest, thinnest 9mm available. Moving up to the P11 (double-stack...
240 Coastal; I had a PA-63, I just sold it a few weeks ago, I sold it for only $150.00, not quite enough for a PS-9, so I got a stripped AR-15 lower instead. I got the PA-63 about 6 years ago, but soon got a Bulgarian Makerov. I thought the Makerov had a better trigger. The 9x18 is a good round. I still have the Makerov, but ammo is hard to come by. I was am for an excuse to get a 9mm, and I...
I really like the Sig 239--although it is a compact frame it is not tiny though. The gun is very well made, accurate, and infinitely reliable. It's a bit thinner than the G26 as well.
The G26 is a great gun as well, but some think it is a bit blocky.
I think I am better off with the Kel-Tec, I don't think any of the others are going to be any smaller than the Glock I already carry. The Micro 1911 is looks grate but for $1200.00 I can get several other guns for that money, pluss .45ACP is expensive to shoot. I did think about a sub compact 1911 instead. The 1911 is a slim gun even for a full size pistol. Too expensive. Pluss I am not totally sold on the .45 ACP. I think the 1911 is a...

You won't go wrong with the PF9. I got one as a "summer-time when I'm wearing shorts" gun and it has quickly become my "drop it in my pocket on the way out the door" gun.
