Thread: Bernie is in the hospital

Betsy, praying they figure out what is wrong with Bernie and he feels better today.? For anyone who has had back pain, they can certainly sympathize.? Back spasms are horrible.? I feel for him.? Hopefully they can figure out what's going on with his white count.? You and Kalani sound like you need some sleep, though, so you two don't get sick.? Please take care of yourself, too, and keep us posted on Bernie.?...

He isn't good.? The diagnosis is sciatica but they don't know what is causing it.? He has an elevated white count and they don't know why.? The pain from the back spasms is horrendous.? When Kalani and I left the hospital, the nurses were giving him drugs to try to get the pain under control and muscle relaxants to try to stop the spasms.? They wanted to reposition him because he has been flat on his back since 10 PM last...

Gosh Betsy that's not good to hear. I wonder if the stress from the pain is making the white count to rise? The only thing that works for me when I get that is Flexeril but I've never had it that bad. Sure hope he (and you) get relief soon!

How scary.? Hope that the pain is gone by the time you get to the hospital today and that a pain free Bernie will be back at home ASAP Hugs,

Oh my.....when it rains it pours.? I hope and pray he's doing much better today. Now you have your Dad and Bernie to worry about.? I had to call the ambulance for George once when his back went out.? They strapped him to a board, secured his head and when he got to the hospital he had to pee, so?a pretty, young nurse?catherized him.? His face turned a lovely?shade of bright red.? LOL Give Bernie a gentle hug for me.

Heres hoping Bernie is feeling much better by now. Keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers. Mary
