Thread: Before I order a 125i on Sunday...

Well, I took delivery of my new baby this morning at 9am. WOW. What a cracking drive! It's very comfy on all but the worst roads, and the handling is sublime compared to anything I've owned before. The dealer said to just drive it like I normally do... No point driving it slowly. Just gotta watch out for those speed cameras this long weekend helping a friend move into his new apartment meant I didn't have much time to stand...

I've driven a 135i vert a few times and the engine sound is a little different, can't explain, both sound unreal, similar volume.

all this 'chat' about the 125i engine sounding great has got me curious. i have only ever heard my 135i, never had the chance to drive/listen to a 125i. Any objective views on which engine is the better sounding assuming no mods?

I agree. The S3 was nice and I liked it. I got in the 135i and fell in love.
