Assuming it DOES start - how do I re-index the windows ? I searched ...

Mine went dead one time when I left something on by mistake, but everything worked OK after I put it onthe charger over night. PS-A Firestone store for service? I would go to my local Chevy dealer first!

Ron, the relearn is very simple - just get in, close door, roll window down and hold button an additional couple seconds in the down position. Then roll window back up and hold in the up position. That's it - do both of course. You may or may not lose your radio presets with the battery swap.

Wait before pressing the Panic Button, NMR. When the battery in The Doophus was replaced (only about 2.5 years old), nothing special was required. All functions and memory items were ready and waiting. GOOD LUCK!

Battery Dead - Now What?

It was an Interstate MTP78 - 85 month warranty - 1000 cranking amps. Installed on Friday - re-indexed the windows as directed by the Forum members - and life is good again. Didn't even lose my radio presets - but I did need to reset the clock. THANKS to everyone for their assistance.
