Thread: Barclays Debit Card blocked, Help Me!

Hi i've just had my debit card swallowed by the machine and i've rang barclays and they said there is a P2 status on my account. What does this mean as she said the account has not been run properly.

Wouldn't they tell you? If your account is run correctly then there might be a possibility of fraud on your account, maybe a cloned card or something?

Call them and ask them to explain what a P2 is. Meanwhile, use another bank account card (if you have one), and tell Barclays to cancel your card.

I think you mean T2. It is a card status, not an account status.

I hada problem recently with the card on my Barclays account but I won't bore you with the details. One of the worst bits was whenever I called Barclays I spoke to someone at an overseas call centre and I wasn't have much success with them. DH also has an account at Barclays but whenever he calls he automaticaaly gets routed to a UK call centre where the service is better. Last time he called the he said I always get overseas and he...
