Thread: Bandit 600/Sv650 and A2 motorcycle test

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by squally
The Bandit and Sv650 are fairly similar build and look like good bikes to own but at a seat height of 810mm would they be a bit small for a 6'3 bloke? Just wanted to know around how much the A2 test would cost me to do? Cheers ____________________ I didnt slap you. I high fived your face.

Sorry mate, i obviously read what you put wrong, but as the topic is about Iridium plugs, i thought you were referring to them. Stupid me You should definitely invest in an Iridium plug if it's a tricky job getting to your spark plug ____________________ Current bike: Hyosung XRX 125D Don't like bikes? TALKTOFRANK.com

I decided to try an iridium spark plug in a last attempt at solving my problem of my ped running rich and fouling the plugs. I noticed a slight increase in acceleration. It has soldiered on and one in three says that it sorted my 6 month long headache of spark plug fouling. ____________________ Falling off at 75 wearing trackies = http://img196.imageshack.us/i/...

That's good to hear mate I thought that the way to sort out your fuel running rich was the air screw or something? I'm not to sure, but if an Iridium plug sorted the problem out then i might have to tell my mate, as he is having the same problem with his 125. ____________________ Current bike: Hyosung XRX 125D Don't like bikes? Hi, I have brought Sachs xtc, the bike will get to me on Thursday. Will post some pics and info ;]

milkster125 replied 3 months, 2 weeks ago
Nice one mate, you'll soon find how great it is to be on the road Never heard of the Sachs XTC myself, but i just googled it, a highly rated bike in reviews, so sounds good What country is it from do you no? Good choice getting a 4 stroke, and one last question... Did you get the naked or the faired version? Looking forward to pics and info ...

Mr White replied 3 months, 2 weeks ago
Just a regular Sachs XTC 125 Black, 2002 model, 4 stroke (suzuki) engine, complete with fairings. Made in Germany, but brought in the UK (not imported) http://www.sachsbikes.co.uk/sachs_dealers.html Was going to take my CBT next weekend but have badly injured my leg so will do it on the 12th of September ;]

Quite nice but it's had everything done to it. No fun in buying someone elses build. Much more fun doing it yourself. You get to lean your bike that way. But it's a good bike but did he specify if it's been crashed or anything. Re-spray screems crash. Hpi clear? Might be worth a 5er from the rac for the info. all good otherwise. Obviously checking everything on viewing. ...

I changed my indicators, but that was because the original 4 were snapped off when ragged around in a field at the hands of a theif. So yes, you can, and actually I prefer my smaller ones. If you're looking for a speed increase then you can lean down as far as you can. Sometimes gives me an extra 5MPH ____________________ will never give up his CG

Review YOUR textiles

I thought i'd post this thread, so people can give their opinions on some textile gear out there. It doesn't matter if it's gear which cost you an arm and a leg, or cheap textiles which cost a packet of crisps. Be good to hear peoples thoughts, since it's in the new bikers section, those new to biking could look here for some advice I'm currently enjoying riding in textiles at the moment, it feels a lot comfier, and...

Hi Brett welcome to BCF it's nice to see someone else from wakefield on here. If you ever see a red and black zzr or a little blue h100 and the rider is nodding somewhat over enthusiasticly it's probably me ____________________ I ride way too fast to worry about cholesterol. Cvntdude supporter A+
