Started 3 months, 1 week ago by Safetychain

I also have a BE in .40s&w, I got it used with two ten round mags and they both drop free. One wont always hold the slide back on the last shot but thats ok cuz Its only a fun gun. I wanted to get a couple of extra mags but they are expensive! Can you see any place on the gun or mag that looks like its rubbing? After changing grips, screws and bushings on a 1911 the mags wouldnt drop free,...

Been out of town. I will remove the grips and check. There does not appear to be any marks on the mags but I only checked at the range. But thanks for the suggestion. Just knowing that yours drops free tells me that something is not right with mine.

Safetychain Its sounds like old version mags, non drop free (like local police got). Try any other magazine (Tangfolio .40 will do the job also).
