how about the division winners or the 5 conferences that have 2 divisions....thats 10 1 each from the other conferences...6....total of 16.... sorry notre dame....join a conference... with this proposal you actually have to WIN something.....and it takes out the option of any polls...because after all...."polls are just opinions" if you think why should some conferences get 2 and others only one...have the one team...

That's easy-- we let the BCS chose them!! Just kidding,really. Howabout we take the conference champs from the:Big 10.PAC 10,SEC,ACC,Big East,MWC, WAC, C-USA,AND BIG 12.We then add the 7 teams WITH THE BEST RECORD REMAINING.To placate the BCS supporters Notre Dame ALWAYS qualifies. I'm not surprised Boise St. isn't having a press conference calling out the teams but in this day and age I can't believe teams names aren't being thrown out there a bit more.  You know, the old "my sources say x and y were two of the teams that turned them down".  The article does throw out one team with an open date but I would think there would be more discussion or speculation going on.  

According to that article Nebraska has an open date with the date Boise wants to fill.  If Nebraska doesn't schedule them, they are cowards.  They can't use the "we need to schedule them years in advance" excuse.  Although in this case a 2011 game would be years in advance. I wish someone would - so Boise could teach 'em a lesson. They seem to be for real. I wish someone would man up. Kudos to Oregon for doing so - they may have been in shambles at the beginning, but Boise sure put the hurt on them to help make sure they started they way - tough way to start. It's a shame so many schools schedule FCS opponents so often - keep those if you want, but man up once in a while and play someone like Boise. It...
