Thread: Australian Sea Life

Thoughts on the Australian Sea Life series? Nice looking coins, similar in nature to that of the dangerous creatures series which was very popular, although these appear to be 1/2oz... http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogu...coin.aspx.a spx

Yes they are pretty pricey for their silver content, but price seems pretty normal for the perth mint coloured/series coins, 1oz usually around $100, 1/2oz $50.

That 1/2 oz silver coin is very beautiful IMO but the price on it is very ugly. Yikes!!!!!!. I guess I am just a collector who is a cheapskate................or maybe I am just a broke GIMer.

pricey for a 1/2 ounce. more pricey than normal even, IMO. The nemo fish might be popular.

when i collect certain coins, I usually hope to get the value back if I ever have to sell it. Can you say that about the see life series?
