Million Dollar Baby kind of sucked, but I'm really in this thread to tell people I'm seeing Antichrist tonight. Should I dress up like my favorite von Trier character?

Maybe Grace, but I'd end up looking more Bryce Dallas Howard than Nicole Kidman. And no one wants that.

Have you seen Europa? I think it's his best movie. It's one of his funniest, and it's absolutely beautiful, too.

I don't know, I love Bryce's cankles.
#1. Scott Phillips Honorable Mentions Quote: Originally Posted by Final Viewer Submission List 10. Mulholland Drive 9. Children of Men 8. Pan's Labyrinth 7. No Country for Old Men 6. The Departed 5. I dislike There Will Be Blood quite a bit, and love Wall-E , so Scott wins this one, though calling it the best of the decade is weird. I suspected that would be his number one, or at least very high, so I've been waiting for it. Side note: it's strange how few top ten lists floating around mention Lost in Translation --AV Club didn't even have it in their top fifty. I love it more than most, but it was the best reviewed film...
Phillips wins overall list vs. Scott, though I like some of Scott's submissions (WALL-E, Eternal Sunshine) that didn't appear on Phillips'. AO wins this final round (though I do like There Will Be Blood; not love), but I actually enjoy the Viewer Submission List, top-to-bottom, better than either critic's. Just a wee bit too populist, however, but meh. And STFU, Bigwig. ROTK is fantastic.

I love it more than most, but it was the best reviewed film of 2003, beating even RotK, so it's disappointing not see it more often. I know, and no one ever talks about How Green Was My Valley , either.
