Oh great, how I can't wait for the coverage to be interrupted by Racing,Wimbledon, The News,Hollyoaks whilst we'll no doubt miss important passages of play. Those of you will say otherwise have very short memories of Channel 4's/BBC's coverage. SKy do a wonderful job with the cricket and I'd like them to keep it please.

This is a strange one. First of all I don't think it's a done deal. The ECB will no doubt appeal, and I wonder what legal basis the Goverment has to order certain sporting events to be only on terrestial TV. Another thing . Why only home Tests? The away games are just as important, and why only against Australia. Showing five games on terrestial every four years is not ...

I wonder who will get it the BBC or Chanel 4 or 5

Is this more or less set in stone? I can't imagine the ECB giving it up easily when they're in the situation that the whole structure is funded to a very large extent by the extra Sky money they now get. They get a lot of stick for "taking over" certain sports, but it's undeniable that Sky involvement has meant that there are much more opportunities for youngsters to get into ...

I don't think that would be a very fair trade for a massive cut in funding. I see very little cricketing or financial reasons for this.

We currently get around 60-70 kids on a Friday night, without the school...

Not until 2017, so a while yet. As for overseas tests, then they never were on terrestial, certainly not live anyway. There's nothing the UK govmt can do about those.
