Where there used to be the domineering presence of one behemoth that one usually being plenty enough the middle of the Chargers' three-man line is now three men. Three noses.

Said Johnson: We've kind of gotten to the point where we're playing four, five plays and switching out. I think that's why we're stopping the run, because we're so fresh now. I know I'm still nowhere near healthy. We're all banged up. But we're doing this thing together, and because we are together, I think we're getting more consistent .
I like this attitude. Let's hope they get it done...

From the stands it looked like Fargas was getting some yards against us. His average for that game ended up at 3.3 YPC which is pretty close to enough from your runner. He averaged 6.7 yards per catch using the passing game...
Their other guy couldn't do much so who know what would've happened if they had simply stayed with Fargas?

With Jamal Williams out, the future is now. We got a guy starting in front of him who was working at the airport rent-a-car 6 months ago. Another one who sat around for the first 5 weeks of the season, ready to give up football before we called him. Another one that got cut by the Chiefs. This isn't exactly tough competition. On the contrary, it's the perfect opportunity for a guy to step in and raise hell. All I'm saying is...
