The news created a lot of additional shareholder value. But apparently YA took that added value for itself by diluting the hell out of every spike.

ebah: Just ignore the part of the PR that says, "All ninety-five claims of this Barcode Lookup Patent have been confirmed as being patentable by the PTO." That part was not true. Only 89 claims were resubmitted to the patent office for the reexamination certificate. At the request of the USPTO, NeoMedia had already removed six of the claims. All independent claims were rewritten resulting in modifications to all 89 remaining claims....

It has already been reviewed, and upheld, by the USPTO.(That is a great thing!) Please see the company website (under Press) and this board past posts, for the info. Pay attention to the 2 PRs from the company about licensing, after the patent was upheld by the USPTO. Also read the patent lawyer's case study.
