I remember a case a few years ago where a man purposefully infected his son with HIV, to get back at his wife because she'd left him and was battling for sole-custody. He ended up being tried for murder, even though the kiddy was still alive, and was found guilty.

Regardless of the politics of the matter attacking a 73 year old man in that fashion deserves punishing.

I'm not saying it doesn't happen it just doesn't happen as much as they'd make you believe.
