There was a time when it was a live bug used in the vaccine. back then some got sick. It is not anymore, it`s dead so unless you have an egg allergy you can`t get anything from the shot. occasionally people get very mild symptoms while their body builds antibodies.

Not going to get the shot, because I did get the shot one year and got VERY sick after it...
