Thread: Are These 2 piece Rotors Safe to Use?

Just wanted to get the opinion of a few extra people. Are these rotors safe to use? Thanks

Def not safe. They will grind with pads because they look rusted and warped. Grinding = Crappy Stopping I would suggest recycling them and calling it a day.

track rotors. aggressive stopping. owner said they still had life, I said no. just wanted some opinions. some cracking is normal from heavy track use, but when it gets that close to the edge, it's different. thanks

Those things are shot, not to mention they are going to vibrate/shudder under braking and chew the hell out of your brake pads. Those are a definite no go,the last thing you want is your rotor to come apart and hurl shrapnel through your car/ at surrounding people.

They look pretty worn anyway. Tonk them with a hammer and if they don't ring, the cracks run deep.

race car drivers say they have a bit left, most say they do not. they are within the service width, and turning could possible get rid of the cracks, but they aren't in the condition described so I returned them.
