I keep thinking that we need to organize a "read in" someplace in her honor. Anyone out there with extreme planning skills?

I just heard on the radio that the 62 year old man who hit her was texting while driving. Good grief.

It didn't affect the power steering as well, did it? I had something similar to that happen once. We took the car in, but I don't remember what they said was the problem (I'll have to remember to ask my husband).

Would it be tacky to do a potluck (I provide meat & cheesy/funeral potatoes) and ask people to bring a dish to share? I'm going to do it on the 23rd. Do you think people would rather have something like soup or cafe rio style instead of the traditional ham & potatoes since most people may get that the next day or two? Also, where would I get bread bowls for a super deal? I've only seen them for $1.00/bowl. Thanks for...
