Thread: Apple OS Simulator for XP?

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by cwilhelm [H]Lite, 2.6 Years
I'm looking for a simulator to be able to run Mac OS programs on XP, specifically Logic, as it doesn't come in a PC version. Anyone know of such a thing?

Nope. You can either get a Mac or use something other than Logic - there's a lot of options these days.

Well, technically it should be possible to build a virtual machine that emulates a Mac, but that would mean reverse-engineering a lot of proprietary Apple firmware and other things, plus breaking the law on a couple of thousand points. There are also hacks and workarounds to install OSX on non-Apple hardware, again, illegal and tricky.

It goes without saying: EULA material is not law - and while OSx86 discussion is frowned upon here ( www.insanelymac.com or www.infinitemac.com or other sites welcome it), people really need to stop saying "doing something against the EULA is breaking the law because it's simply not true . At least not till the Supreme Court or something similar says it is. Bleh.
