Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by minerdude1

I only need a couple of parts from it, like the bed and a couple of other things. Anyone else interested in parts from it to go in on it with me? You would need a place to put it and depending on how far away you are from me, I could help you part it out. I ...

no prob! I need to get more people interested in going in on parts, but I hope we can make something work out!

Im interested in the rear leafs if they still have arch.

Post the price that you are willing to pay for stuff, then when we have enough people interested in stuff we can get it. Whoever is interested in getting the remaining parts to part out can throw in $100 or so and keep the rest. You would by far be able to make some cash on the deal! I am willing to throw in $150 for the bed and rear axle

I might take the cab for $150

Yeah Troy, I was debating about taking that too, but I am not sure how the transfering of vins could legally work out. I think you can do it if you have titles for both vehicles, but thats something I would have to ask a CSP patrolman about

cab swap on it is easy. Pull your vin and pull the vin from the new cab. Install the vin you have registered on the new cab and go to the dmv and say its now whatever color the new body is. The frame is whats titled. I have done this 3 times now.

Being there's no title to this truck,...

You could get a title re-instated under a "lost title" cause. Just be sure the current owner writes a bill of sale including the vin number, year, etc.

I thought the frame was interchangeable but the cab wasn't, as far as VINs go?

Minerdude, you're pretty good at parting shit out.... Want to part a '77 924? I'm scared to do it.
