Just wondering, I've still got my first card I bought, the all mighty Voodoo 2 12 meg so I was just wondering if anyone's got their old cards still or have all gone to the recycle bin.
Other cards that I still have laying around for one reason or an other:
V3 2000
V3 3000
V5 5500
Kyro series both I/II (cards were great imo).
First Radeon that ATI put out along with a whole series of ...
i've been trying to get my hands on the Hercules 4500 Kyro 2 board.. or
more preferably, the 4800 or Kyro 2 SE card for ages.... i've never been
able to track one down... a working one
Good luck on the 4800 card. I've been looking forever for one. The only person that I know that has one is mikepedo. This is what I got from a member of an old PVR forum site when I was really looking into it a couple of years ago. He wanted more then 500$ at the time and I can't spend that much on a card, especially if I'm not using it day to day.
"Mike is a member of 3dfxzone as well so its...
which site.. Pvr-net or pvrgenerations?
I know for only 3 people that had them, and at the time, they were also asking a fair chunk for them....
How much do you want? i'm sure i could figure out some sort of an arrangement..... are they both the hercules brand with the terrible fan on them.. or different manufacturers?
My old wreck collection consists of:
1. VL-Bus Diamond stealth 968
2. PCI Bus - S3 several old cards
3. PCI Bus - Matrox Millenium 2
4. PCI - S3 Savage 4 (my first decent 3D card)
5. AGP, Rage 128
6. AGP, Creative Geforce 2MX
7. AGP, Geforce 4MX
One day, I'll get round to reviving some of my old wrecks for a spot of legacy gaming.
well don't rush on any of it.... just a fyi... i'm not planning on jumping on anything right considering the world wide situation. I'm kinda pooling my resources for the "just in case" senario.. which means that 20-30 bucks + shipping could provide me with enough food to last a few weeks if properly managed.
LOL totally understandable. Cards aren't going anywhere any time soon I'm guessing so let me know. I still need to make sure they both work as I really don't want to sell anything that's not working right so it's all good.

I threw away some old cards. Others I gave away in the past (like the PVR card), and the people who got them threw them away. I do have a Rage Pro (or Rage XL) card somewhere, I think, and a GeForce 3, and possibly a PCI card, too, but I threw away a lot of old stuff (like the Voodoo 2) before I moved to live with my wife.
My oldest card is a Diamond Stealth S3 Savage (don't remember exactly). Then a 8500LE, GF4 Ti4200, N6200 and finally my x1800gto. I was thinking to hang them on my wall, but in the end i packed and put them in my basement :P
