All Fl retailers will be required to have E10 by the end of next year.

Yeah I got $20 bucks worth last nite at Clr Largo RD, it was $3.09 a gallon compared to $2.89 for ETH 93 which doesn't make sense? I would think it would cost more to add 6-10% Ethanol? I talked to the Manager of the store and he said it's marine grade 93 Octane and he has seen an increase of about 40 miles per full tank in his truck, Is he blowing smoke up my ***? My car did run pretty fricken...

Doesn't it effect the TRUE Octane rating too Hurstmeister? I notice Custom tuners retarding spark advance a bit with the Ethanol blend.. And I agree with your logic it did nothing positive for emissions!

One of my prior customers went with flex fuel vehicles to run E85. By the time the leases were up he said he was sticking to regular fuel. Guess he had many mechanical problems across the board using E85 vs. regular gas. I also read that E85 is harsher on the internals of a motor. It was an article about vehicles in Brazil.
