here goes the coilover kit I have (trying to sell also) Brand new in the box belltech coilovers.
front coilovers compression/rebound adjsutable
rear shocks compression/rebound adjustable
rear belltech 2 inch drop springs
I had the KB coil overs in the front, and Eibach springs in rear installed today.
It sits a little less than 2" lower all around now. It looks great, and handles just as good, if not better than before. I purchased the KB's from NORCAL SS, and the Eibachs from the ShoxShop. I need a new alignment, and am going to wait for the springs to settle in for a couple of weeks. Here are a couple of pics...
looks good remember on the kbees you should only have enough spring tension to hold the spring in place and the lower mount is what you move up and down to lower or lift.
on the compression/rebound knob up top 8-10 clicks is usually what i have it on when I do the ssrs and comes out great.
I've had the KBee coils and shocks on the front of Hellvis for about a year and Eibach springs on the rear.
Both are excellent products. I like the KBees because you can adjust the ride height, which is necessary if you have a chin spoiler.
thanks, the eibach spring where $220 for the front and back and the install
was $400 including realignment (also included a trip back for alignment
check in about 6 months). I didn't feel comfortable doing the fronts myself
so I had the shop do both front and back. Everyone that has seen it likes
the look much better now. It's not alot but just enough to fill in the
fender wells.
how much i worked wiht these suspensions i would keep the stock springs and do the belltech drop struts before doing any aftermarket spring in the front. The shock shaft gets positioned much farther down in the stroke and just eats up the performance aspect. Now coilovers compared to springs no comparison at all on ride and cornering. Ive done many set ups wiht the belltech or eibach springs and recommened the belltech drop struts for ride and...

Looks good! Quote: Originally Posted by Bfish It's not alot but just enough to fill in the fender wells. I felt the same way too after I had mine lowered ... but with some of today nasty road condition, its just right for everyday cruising.

Thanks for all the info and suggestions. Just got my truck back from the shop today!! I went with the Bell Tech setup, based on recommendation from local shop that has done several local SSRs with this setup. Installed adjustable from shocks (used stock springs) and real springs and shocks from Bell Tech. Got a good 1+" drop in the front and 2" +/- inches in the rear. Not super low, but seems a good compromise, given road...
