We recently adopted a hamster from the local pound, and the Bunnies that where there where amazing, I would love to adopt one some day.
The bunny has been there almost a month.I know that is about how long they keep dogs and cats before euthanizing them.I don't know about the rabbits. So any advice would be appreciated , as soon as possible.
You should adopt a bunny!! I have a 4 year old Netherland Dwarf named Nimbus and he is my darling. Really, I love him so much. Where to begin...
I don't know much about rabbits and dogs cohabitating, though I do know it is possible. I think it would depend a lot of your dog. Nimbus isn't afraid of cats or dogs, since he is used to people I guess. He hops right up to my parents' dog ...
I don't own a bunny, but I am a slave to one. She's a dwarf named tippy.
Tippy's hutch is a 24 x 36 dog crate plus a 24 x 48 area that makes it an L-shape (made from this http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...N=2035803&N e=2 plus we made a roof for it). She gets out to play several times a day, and is out most of the weekend.

sorry if i haven't read all the posts, i just wanted to chime in real quick. at the farm, our bunnies and cats co-exist rather peacefully. some of our cats even sleep with some of our bunnies. i'll need to post a picture of that someday.
