Thread: Any advice on the Suzuki B-King

Started 2 months, 1 week ago by bogman
May or may not trade the K1200R against a low mileage 08 model, have it on trial, no doubting the power, what would it be like touring, tank size looks like an issue, chain as against shaft drive Any comments ?

I'd love a K1200R meself.(or mayby a 13 ) Remember how Alan O'Connor used to blow away the opposition at the drag races ? What a machine

The b-king is a good bike, mad styling (not for me) but the engine is, i believe superb. Also, isn't the petrol tank rather small ( 16 ltrs appx ?) So that equates to around 120-ish miles per tank. It will be a vast contrast in comparison to the k12 you have now. The suzuki imo couldnt come close for touring the way the k12 can - adapt with (luggage etc) good mileage range and comfy to boot. Having rode a k12r and loved it i know what...
