It's not a common parakeet in the US pet trade, but they do exist. Does anyone know any pet store or breeder that sells them?

Nope, San Antonio people are not helpful or friendly enough to assist.
I also posted on Austin board, and those people are rude!

Did you mention that you were from Houston on the Austin CD?? That could be the reason behind their rudness...they hate on H-town and H-...

They seem like they're pretty rare.
Have you asked any of the big bird forums out there? There's a good chance someone on one of those might know where to find one.
