QUOTE and damnnn congratz on being 22 with a CR...lol what area do you live in? lol...thanks, im paying out the ass for it, but considering its my dream car its worth every penny i dont have! Oh, and i live in the falls. ... Back on topic, we went to the hospital lastnight, spent ~5 hours there and came back with all negative test results (including UTI), she is now ...
Oh and i found a possible reason for why the ER takes so long to help people, lastnight i witnessed people going to the ER (EMERGENCY ROOM) for a mild fever, sprained pinky, and a bruised arm (all of which were served before my gf who could of had an exploding appendix for all we knew). So with the lack of ability for people to tell when its a real emergency, and the hospital unable to ...
well each patient should be accessed in the order they come in... but should be finally taken in order of the severity of their injury, which is how i believe they do it. Im good with hospitals, im very injury prone. a broken wrist, fractured heel and torn acl, pcl and knee dislocation in the last 2 years
I hope you're gf will be ok soon. I still remember her beautiful face when I met you guys @ Speedstar s2k meet (I own the blue CR). Yeah walk-in clinic doctors sucks!
Walk in clinics are mostly doctors just fresh out of school... They are gaining experience with minor issues as walk in clinics usually get. They even say if you think the issue is serious, go immediately to the hospital, even with babies, you don't take your baby to a walk in clinic, they will (or should) tell you to go to the hospital.
the fee for an ambulance is very small.. OHIP covers most of it. and yes, the ER's in hospitals can be a joke. there are a lot of canadians that abuse free health care, but its just how our system is. the ER is always filled with people, and i would say 70% of them don't need to be there. there are urgent care centre which are more appropriate then an ER, for ex. for fractures, burns, hang ...
Thanks everyone, i ended up using a carpet cleaner from my grandparents, that also sucks up water and just left it out to dry out. looks good and smells fine luckily. This post has been edited by RAYZ-Ace on Aug 30 2009, 04:17 PM
Been having some discussion as to whether I should remove the softop over the winter since I now have a spoon hardtop and can probably save 60-80lbs of dead weight on the car.... My current canvas needs to be replaced anyway cause it is weathered and ripped in a few places...I have a used and in better condition canvas I can install...Or should I just remove it completely? I figure I can still rock top down locally I just don't have the...
QUOTE (wowowox @ Dec 8 2009, 12:11 PM) Hi everyone, Currently I live in Vancouver, I plan to move to Toronto soon. I am wondering if it is possible to drive s2000 in winter Toronto? I do have snow tires however I am worried about ground clearance since our car are low. Anyone here drive his s2000 in the winter? Do I need a block heater? DO cops in Toronto care about modifications? Is exhaust, hood and spoiler ok? Lastly, how is insurance in...
greatly depends on what area of toronto you move into... for example... i live in woodbridge and insurance here is much more expensive then most area's due to the whole street racing scene blah blah blah. Modified cars get jumped on over here. I got pulled over with my old gti because the officer heard my blow off and thought it was nitrous :S lmao edit: forgot to mention that when i switched from my 2dr gti 1.8t to the s2000, my...
I'm looking for a great business lawyer who's streetwise and smart. I'm also looking for an accountant who can deal with both US and CAN accounting and tax matters. In the GTA, downtown or east? Know anyone you'd recommend? --------------------
This guys from cambridge... I suspect he got the ticket somewhere in the KW area. If thats the case, he's got 2months until court appearance unless he postpones the date... no way 8months until initial appearance though.
u gotta go with the new HSPA telus network/phones old cdma was inferior in that area. the new telus hspa > rogers hspa in terms of coverage. speed is roughly the same.
