It was a flawless skit the whole way through, right down to the details, ex. "Purity of Essence" written on the chalk board. Beck is such a fraud and an actor, and Stewart completely owned him.
I saw this when it was on and was practically rolling on the floor laughing. Stewart nailed it perfectly. I don't know how he manages to make someone so ridiculous look even more ridiculous, but he does. And it's brilliant.

Beck's ratings crush his critics and for good reason, he's good at what he does. He goes into detail, connecting things, ideas, highlights statements people make and adds a bit of emotion to cap it off in a very effective way. His ratings are only going to increase, while his critics' influence continues to diminish.
