I put 021 rear on an FZS600 2500 miles ago and same story squared off but loads of tread on the edge. I went to Assen in June with it which was about 1000 miles all in and it was pretty much straight motorway but it's supposed to be a touring tyre for feck sake. And the front arrrrrrghhhh, what a noise and it was only replaced 2000 miles ago, can't wait till it wears out so I can replace it with ...

I can tell you your front will wear out pretty quick and it will eat the right hand side first and square off in the middle leaving a ridge between the 2 squared bits making cornering horrible. My bike wants to steer in too far and I have to hold the bars back from turning in too far.

I am not impressed with these tyres at all although they do grip well. Don't know what to get next any recomendations welcome.

Well I am going to try Michelin pilot road 2ct's if the tyre shop can source a rear for me. if not I will try Avon Storm ST's

storms are stunning, and notice the on Sunday the mfh69's front 021 has worn on the right like you said, sounds like bridgestone proper focced up with these

I sent Bridgestone an email: I have a pair of BT021 tyres on my 2000 FZS600 Fazer and the front tyre has worn down to the wear indicators on the right hand side leaving a horrible ridge between centre of tyre and big flat spot. the middle and right hand side have lots of tread left. The rear has squared off down to wear indicators but has lots of tread left at the edges almost mirroring the...

Got 021s on my 02 Fazer thou. When new the steering is the best, great wet weather grip too. Got 5000 miles from the last pair, find it strange that the front wears quicker than the rear, never known this on any tyre before. The precise handling goes off rapidly after about 4000 miles. This is my second pair but will be going to Avon Storms next due to cost considerations

I previously had swapped to BT020's and was quite happy with them, when it was time to change they had the BT021 as a 'better version' of BT020's - so I put these on - and after 2000 miles toptally regretted it - they aqaured off on the front (which 020's had never done) didn't have the same feel on the bike aswell. Now I am looking at all other tyres as a replacement - any recommodations ...

Road pilot twos are in a different class inho. They cost a bit more but the cost per mile is lower because they last much longer. I was a bridgestone man for years but my latest fazer came with rp2s and suddenly I forgot what it was like to have the rear step out in the rain or to have any worries about grip ever. I commute so my mileage is not 'normal' but I get 12000 miles from a pair and I change them with plenty of thread left
