After what I saw with Fedor's wild but very fast swinging tonight I will say that he beat Brett fair and square........to all those that are whining about a premature stoppage get over it..........Rogers wasnt rooked like Rua was.......he was done.......that punch neutralized him to the point where Fedor from that top position was just seconds away from knocking or choking Rogers unconscieous. ...
Silva is good, deadly accurate and fast. Fedor is not as fast but hits much harder. Both are good on the ground but i think fedor has the better takedowns and subs. And everyone knows thats where its going. and another thing for the love of god do not ever compare Fedor to Chris Leben and forrest Griffin EVER again.

Silva has VERY good jui jitsu, good enough to submit Fedor in a triangle or armbar off his back if Fedor gets too agressive lol(ala Travis Lutter)........I honestly was impressed with Brett tonight....I do think he respected Fedor too much but then again just one swing from him semmed to be 2 or three in response coming from Fedor so maybe he was smart not to overly commit after all.............
lol at comparing fedor to chris leben.. fedor is not a brawler... he sits and watches and waits much like chck norris does... he missed with the big right a couple of times tonight but the 3rd time was the charm

NYG first off dont tell me what to do......Ill compare Fedor to you if I want lol...... and secondly dont misinterpret what aI am saying.........obviously skill and record wise Fedor is lightyears ahead of Leben and Griffin what I am pointing too is his striking style resembles theirs.......especially Lebens......wide looping hooks. Now Fedor throws hooks and haymakers,Silva prefers straight ...
Colt you must not be familiar with Fedor to say his striking is similiar to Leben....please watch all of Fedor's fights...then come back and tell us what you've learned

I dont need to learn anythign more than I have already observed dear........I have seen all of Fedor's key fights......and keep in mind he just recently got on a streak of knocking people out........he was all submissions or mostly sub victories for a while. It doesnt take racket science to look at the way Fedor strikes and attacks to see that he first of all has an open stanc eliek Chuck with no...
While I don't disagree that Silva would probably outstike Fedor standing, there is no way Fedor would fight like that against Silva... If you watch Fedor's fights and listen to his commentary, he throws those punches on those guys because he sees that they leave him the opening to do so... Silva would no give him such an opening so he would never throw that... on the ground, I believe they are a ...
I am confident that 8 times out of 10 Anderson's stand up beats Fedor's and given the fact that he has greatly improved his jui jitsu since the Travis Lutter fight I give him a better than 50% chance against Fedor on the ground even a t hw.......maybe even 60%.The only thing Silva really has to worry about with Fedor is the ability of Emelienko to literally be strong enough to be able to force a submission on his opponet like he did...
I agree with a lot of what you are saying, except for the Fedor and Mayweather comparison. They really couldn't be any more different. Fedor is willing to fight big dangerous opponents - Mayweather ducks dangerous bigger guys like Cotto. Mayweather is all about the money and flaunting it - The money is secondary to Fedor Mayweather has rarely been in danger in any of his fights, while Fedor has been in dangerous spots and looked mortal...
you guys crack me up seriously! what is anderson going to do run around the ring and throw jabs to win..are u insane, if rogers cant knock him out 265-270 pound guy u think anderson is going to? How does anderson then win then, going to the ground, your insane again....im not saying silva isnt legit or a top 3 fighter..but he would get owned end of story....silva said himslef in a few clips ive seen online he would never fight fedor hes too...
After Fedor Rogers I think if you didnt learn one thing you are hard headed....Fedor cant beat Brock now...Well let me say Brock should see the simple game plan...Clinch with Fedor take him down...You dont have to worry about being submitted....Fedor just wont be strong enough to submit Brock period...He tried on Rogers and really not even close....If Rogers was in better shape the second round like Brock is...Just clinch again and take him...
because he is good nough too......simple,the same way he is good enough to dominate 2 weight classes and if Dana allows it good enough to dominate 3 weight classes if he ever fought Mir lol. If he was so good he would not cut and fight at his natural weight.

Silva has a 3 1/2 inch reach advantage and a 2 inch hieght advantage. the last time i remember him being on his back was when he caught lutter in the triangle - but the coolest thing he did off his back was against yushin okami http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxELudYYTq8 wasn't that an illegal blow and cost anderson the match? Yes it was.
