Thread: An Nba trade that makes perfect sense for both teams.

The Lakers trade Andrew Bynum , Jordan Farmar and Adam Morrison to the Mavericks for Dirk Nowitski. Dirk is the best player of the 4 and a former Nba Mvp. But when he is retired in 6 years, Bynum will be only 27 and will be the most dominant center in the Nba for over a decade after Dirk is retired. So it helps both teams. The Lakers now but the Mavericks later.

The trade machine is pure bullshyt. I base my trades on reality not a silly novelty.
I was really hurt by a poster who lied about something that was really important to me.
Nothing has changed since last time:
Bynum can't stay healthy, Farmer can't play much in this league, Morrison can't play a lick.
That trade does nothing for the Mavericks.
To get the one thing they crave most, A pure bonafide outside shooter who would make the double teams that Kobe and Gasol get pay dearly.

Andrew Bynum is too unproven of a commodity at that ludicrous price for Dallas to acquire with Dirk Nowitzki. Also, I don't think the Lakers would like a Gasol-Nowitzki-Odom front-court that much. How will the offense work if there are three guys (including Kobe Bryant) that demand the basketball and Derek Fisher at point guard? Who's going to step up on defense between these three? This is ...
Apparently, the trade machine is a bullshyte novelty and Bynum and his BYC isn't reality.
This trade makes no sense from a financial standpoint and it makes no sense from a talent standpoint.
Oh great, I'm being showed how to box from the captain of the Jewish debating team.
Farmer can't play much in this league Typical Boston retard. The guy is a role player. He comes into the game and when they need him and he makes big shots at big times. Looking at his stats, alone, is deceiving. From a single bench player, I'll take clutch shooting over percentage, any day of the week.

To get the one thing they crave most, A pure bonafide outside shooter who would make the double teams that Kobe and Gasol get pay dearly. I like the way you think, Steve. I had high hopes for Bynum. I figured Kareem could help the kid out with his foot-work and overall defensive play, but he seems to have that Yao problem.
Dirk would give them the experience at the position and ...
Alright then. Of those three players, who is going to play the excellent interior defense like Robert Parish, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett that this Lakers team needs? Also, Ron Artest has really declined as a perimeter defender (why the Lakers picked him over Trevor Ariza, I'm stumped) and Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher are both playing their 14th season. The Lakers badly need something on the defensive end that they don't have. At...
Come now, Sule. This trade can't happen unless the Lakers toss in another 3-mil. Oh great, I'm being showed how to box from the captain of the Jewish debating team.
Alright, because we're still arguing about something that's unclear, let me bring up Larry Coon's excellent NBA Salary Cap FAQ: http://bit.ly/13Rz0a 73. What is "Base Year Compensation?" How does base year compensation affect trades? Why does it exist? Base year compensation (BYC) prevents another salary cap loophole. Without BYC, a team over the salary cap that wants to trade a player, but can't because...

Two reasons that trade would never occur. Cuban would not trade Nowitski to the Lakers especially since who would become the go to guy in Dallas offensively. Bynam does not fit a player that would fit into the Dallas style. You would have to sweeten the pot to make Cuban happy, give him a marquee player that people would want to pay to go see. Bynam is not that guy. Bynam has been shopped around in the past with no takers. Another reason is...
