How would a forum owner know? Jason, if this is a trade/exchange 1:1 then my next question is what is the benefit of trading versus just putting your own link in your own signature? I don't think there are any, so in your scenario where it is a mutual 1:1 trade I don't see an issue ... but I think the same benefit would be experienced by just using your own signature and the energy exerted in the exchange is a waste of time.

Interesting thought. I can't think of any cons and it could help your reach a little. Why not.

Well, I think that Logan is right. But on other hand, you can do it! Think that won't harm any one!

Who will ever know that you swapped links with someone? Common sense has to prevail here, and I don't think that Google is policing the forums, are they?

I fully agree with Logan.You should be careful with this sort of tricks, you know, though they seem so challenging at first sight
