I got a coolsat 5000 for $4 at the fleamarket. Doesnt have remote I don't even know if its a clone model or not. I know they have good motor control and thats why I bought it. From the pictures I seen it looks original its just missing the cover that goes over the card slot. They also had for sale Dish network stb ranging from $30-10.

Iceberg replied 3 months, 2 weeks ago
exactly. Those dealers wont be around much longer with the card swap working

Let Dish Network fend for themselves. I know I don't pitty them after some of their business practices. Karma!

I'm quite happy with my Direct sub living nicely along side my FTA system. The guy in this store is missing out on the fun his customers could be having with an FTA system. He could be a legit Direct or Dish provider/installer, but even so, he should also carry FTA systems and dishes. What a shame! And if he IS promoting the pirating of signals, then he will be busted soon enough without our ...

Don't think dish allows their dealers to sell fta equipment (if they can stop them). Besides , they can't sell US pay-service in Canada.

Claude Greiner replied 3 months, 2 weeks ago
You sure this guy in Canada was not having a going out of business sale

OTA and FTA here. I watch too much t.v. as it is. I find having a dvr is beneficial, though. There's always something recorded to watch.

Satellite TV on your PC Spam.
Published (2009-12-06 09:13:00)
The say they offer satellite TV on your PC and actually try to provide some kind of a product, but all that is delivered is a streaming signal from a server, no doubt pirated and illegal, downloading to your PC through your broadband or cable connection. These sites force you to pay a subscription before they let you see the quality of the TV signal, or the channels they “carry”. The free satellite TV scammers are providing...

Sponsored Links Haven't been able to work on the dishes out in the yard for the past week or so due to rain and flooding. The good thing is that I was able to verify that the flooding wouldn't come close to the new cable runs or the wooden pallets the dishes are on. Temperatures are not a problem, we're due for upper 30s to low 40s throughout the forecast period.

Maybe the gent was actually a spy for Charlie... looking for eye-patches... I'm as accessible as I can be. When I first put my mount posts up for the BUDs, all the neighbors wondered what I was doing... funny, a couple of them thought I was mounting solar panels at first. When I told them they lost interest. The others started wondering about a neighborhood cable service... which I have pondered quite a bit... (there's only 8 of us...
