Okay... I never start a thread on here, but I have a serious problem and I don't know where to begin, or what to do. This is not the time for jokes or sarcasm, so please save it. As of right now, I'm crying pretty hard about this. I actually ...

I know you are right. I wonder if there are privacy laws to protect me and my daughter if we were to go? Does anyone know?

See the principal but prepared to pull your child out of that school. Is there a private school or Charter school available nearby?

Racheal001 replied 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Yes, there are private schools in the area. And , yes, I'm prepared to do whatever it takes. I'm just not used to this type of problem. Usually, the parent can talk to the other... end of problem. But these days, it's not as easy. I'm such a mess guys. I appreciate your responses.

Do you know how long this has been going on? Middle school kids are so fickle. It could blow over in a matter of days. If not, you might want to concider phoning the school. ( that way no kids would see you ) Maybe your daughter could have a meeting with the guidance counselor, and they could give her some suggestions on how to handle this situation. In any event, it really is her battle ...

It's been going on for about 5 months or so. Getting a little worse each time. All started when the girls were going to play a joke on a kid at school that does not fit in well with others. My daughter spoke up and said no, it's a mean thing to do. Since then, it's gone down hill. I understand about our Mommy instincts, and agree to a dergree. This problem seems to be getting worse, so I am ...

I understand about our Mommy instincts, and agree to a dergree. This problem seems to be getting worse, so I am going to step in.I have been doing a lot of 'sideline coaching', but my way isn't helping that much. I just need to gather my thoughts. I actually fell a bit better talking with you guys. Thanks so much for that. Good luck. I hope things smooth out for your daughter. This has...

As of right now, I'm crying pretty hard about this. I actually feel sick. My daughter is being bullied by a girl at school. It has been so bad that yesterday, my Daughter ...

So far 7th grade has been the worst. Girls are difficult. My son is happy playing football and riding his bike. Anyway, I have to get going for now. Feel free to email if needed. I will give you an update after the mtg tomorrow. Thanks so much, you have all made me feel better.

Rachel, I'd also like to add, most schools have a zero tolerance for bullies. Pulling her out of school seems extreme, maybe they could change her classes around. Debi

Good for you. I applaud your actions. Reminds me of  situation last year with my daughter and a boy who was constantly harassing her with disgusting sexual comments. I didn't call his parents, I went to their home and informed them that if he didn't stop there would be severe consequences. To this day (he was bothering her over a year ago) he will barely even look in her direction. Me too!!!  I guess going in...

I'm so sorry Brenda that your son was jumped by a gang. He and his friend were lucky that they weren't killed. I can't imagine how frightened you must have been when you found out what happened!  I've personally experienced similar experiences in my first neighborhood in LA. It used to be a nice, middle class neighborhood, with some custom homes, some horse property occupied by Asians, whites and one...

My daughter spoke up and said no, it's a mean thing to do. Since then, it's gone down hill. <<<   Pulling her out of the school or resorting to home schooling BECAUSE of incidents like this will not help your daughter in the long run. Your daughter has shown she can stand-up for herself and for what she feels strongly about and the bullies don't like this. They like compliance. They love...

Rachel, first, damn shame you and your daughter going thru this crap. Second the advice given here is right on may I add be firm talk with the school make it clear you will not tolerate such behavior. In order for anyone to walk on you, you must lay down and be a rug, { ole saying } When my son was in high school kids there confronted him to join a gang he told me about it I went directly to the school demanded to speak to those in...
