I hope someone has experience with this Alpine KCA-121B aux input adapter.
I'm looking for an easy way to hookup my laptop to my 2002 AI-net Alpine HU. I'm not an iPod person, I just want to play music through Media Player.
Can I assume these RCA's would be low-level input and in Aux mode the HU would simply be volume control?
I am on the right track here?

I was in Olympic National Park last Monday and I went down for an A-L meet last Spring, but I'm not planning any trips to Seattle in the near future.
