08 avensis so that it allows you to use new CO2 emisions tax rate for diesel. 2L avensis should be in Band B (I think) €156 for the year and is a lot better than paying nearly €600 tax for an 07.............. cam chain engine too so cheaper to service.

Hello all, Cosideing buying one of the tree above cars. Saloon Versions. Any comments from owners on any, much appreciated. Do a lot of family driving, I've 4 Teenagers, rack up a lot of mileage. Almera is ancient and outclassed by almost everything else out there. It is the same car since 2000. Corolla is the freshest design of the three assuming your looking at the new model. Available in 1.4 litre diesel which is quite frugal, rather limited spec wise though where you have to go up to nearly the top model to get basic things like air conditioning.
