I would immediately steal one of these mecha and use it to climb Mount Everest. I would then level Mount Everest. That is all.

All the other nations of the world would immediately demand that the United States shared their newfound technology with the rest of the world. The united states would say OK but only give out the almost non-helpful crap to the other nations and hold the rest of it for 'security reasons' and to 'ensure that the technology does not fall into the wrong hands'.
