The 260's dead and gone, just too unreliable, and not comfortable for long trips, looked at lots of turbo's and didn't like the top end power surge compared to a bottom end rise of power from my V6, so when I found out I lost my license, I bought this 760 from a mate as he was looking to sell it and I have time to get a car on the road and save a few bucks.
I've replaced the injectors on ...
Thanks, it's been a project the past 6 months and is meant to be done, but due to a IRS bush which is failed, I hasn't got RWC and rego yet, which is annoying, and it runs incredibly rich too, which i can't work out why.
Nice project mate, good clean car. If you get mags for it i think you'd have a tough time getting one that look just right. When you get it on the road i'll keep an eye out for it. cheers

Perhaps these OEM ones? Someone want to photoshop?
Mmm Volan's, I like the 5 spoke Volvo mags myself, but I'll see how I go with rims, getting it on the road is more important atm, I want to fit some stiffer taller rear springs too as those make the car look uneven and give that dumped in the arse fully sick look which I don't like that much.

I ...
Yeah, it does look ok, but at the same time I know it will scrape if I have it loaded up, and it's not stiff enough anyway. Gotta get some rear suspension bushes replaced, but can't get OEM ones as they are worth a lot, gotta make a sleeve to make the socket smaller and then put in a more common urethene bush as the stock one is an hourglass one and it's there mostly for NVH isn't it?
Well a small update.
Car is at home, fitted decor panel and eventually got the engine running normal no, changed the fuel pump, FPR, ECU, O2 sensor again, and made sure all the vacuum lines were sealed. No longer rich running!
Finished the interior off more.
Have been scrubbing these back to coat them with heaps of lacquer as I like shiny suspension parts, for the IRS sway...
I also added the 16's off the other car in feb or something like that. I dont' update much on here as not many people seem to be interested in anything that doesn't have a blue and white badge, and there is a perfectly good Volvo forum I post on, but here's some pics of the car with the other rims as it is now. Before After: I have newer pics, but not online, only difference is that it's slightly shinier and it has...
The 2.8 in the 88 onwards are a lot better to drive and the motor is a lot better. The earlier ones with the K-jet are better to be replaced with a 3.8, but they all had 4 speed auto's.
