Debate ensued. Someone ...

I've read posts about dash caps, I've see lots of SL's with cracked dashes, but don't recall seeing one in person. Your dash cap looks great - virtually undetectable in the photos, I could not see any edges that said its a dash cap.
Me wonders if in the future those of us without caps on our dash will not be able to find them when we will need them.

Carl I would say yes....but colour might be an issue. Chances are, you might have to dye / paint it to suit your needs before installation.

To help these poor unfortunate souls. You do know that BMW's are doing quite a bit better than Mercedes in terms of reliability, right?
Maybe you should look around this very forum and see why.

I don't even remember where I bought that one - someplace in Arizona. It came dyed the right color, but I've had to do some touch up on it over the years.

Yes I do speak of the 107. That is the name of this forum. The "C/R 107 SL SLC Class". A bit funny you should mention the transmission. That is one part of the 107 drivetrain that rarely fails.

I do, but it's more fun to decimate a forum in numbers. You're doing a good job of bringing us all there and turning this place into an NSFW domain. Now, you speak of the 107. I have a current car. You have an older car. Our experiences can be vastly different, and I speak of what is now, being in a family with more than a half dozen benzes, from large to small and now seeing how they all go. One is actually in Italy right now with a...

Decimation - a noble objective - for boneheads or, more than likely in this case, sick fucks with no life of their own. Go do it somewhere else. Moderator, it's time to cut him off so he can return to playing with his penus - nothing constructive to offer here - a waste of bytes on the servers.
