Hello, I have a doubt/problem: Yesterday I went to see a room in a flat in Edinburgh...I won't take it, because I found another one slightly cheaper, with en-suite bathroom, and much closer to one of the train stations (I have to commute every day to go to work). But, the young landlady remained in my mind...She's in her old 20s (a bit older than me), and is physically nice (not a top model...

Why not just phone her back, ask her if she remembers you and politely ask her out to dinner. What have you got to lose? If she says no, it doesn't matter as you will probably never see her again and at least you will know. If she says yes then BINGO! Be brave!
