Started 3 weeks, 5 days ago by dougcvd
My wife has been complaining about her PC being reallllllllly slow. Sure enough, it is. I have done all the regular malware, spyware, adware, crapware scans and cleans but to no avail. I'm in the process of learning to read ComboFix and Hijackthis logs but am no where close to functional. Below are the latest ComboFix and HijackThis scan logs. Thank you in advance...

How much RAM do you have? Open Windows Explorer . Go Tools>Folder Options>View tab, put a checkmark next to Show hidden files, and folders . Upload following files to http://www.virustotal.com/ for security check: - c:\windows\system32\drivers\ nvatabus_2.sys - c:\windows\ wpd99.drv Post scan results.

Thanks Broni, Do you ever sleep? I was finally able to install Java through a workaround. Not exactly as Sun's KB article described but never-the-less effective. I will re-run the TFC on the computer as soon as I have access to it again. Thank you again for your assistance. Doug
