Since posting this, it was discovered that Rose had an insulinoma on her pancreas. She had a 7 hour oprertion to remove this 4 weeks ago. They removed her spleen and found somrthng on her liver which they are sure came from the cancer on her lung. We are still waiting for biopsy reports, but if it is the Salivary Gland Type Lung Cancer again, I fear the worst as it is probably in her ...

My wife Rose has been diagnosed as having Salivary Gland Type Lung Cancer, a very rare one - only 1 in a 1000 lung cancers are of this type. She has had a lung removed. In surgery it was found the cancer had spread to her lymph glands which were also removed. The concern now is that if the cancer had got this far may it have spread elsewhere in her body? We have been told there is a 50/50 ...
