Thread: A fresh start

It's 2010! Hooray! My debt today is £241.96 MORE than it was on 1 January 2009. But never mind! This year it WILL go down. I have enough money in my current account to pay my tax bill so this will be the first January ever when I don't have to borrow. Since starting on MSE three years ago I have reduced my debt by about £17,500 BUT that has been entirely due to loan payments. The amount on credit cards has actually increased by...

My house too is reasonably tidy - mind you, I have been working at it all week......and it is still only "reasonably" tidy Still, that is a significant improvement on its usual state!

As you say, Seaxwyn, you're doing the best you can - just keep doing a bit every day (and give yourself a little bit of you-time, even if its only 5mins - thats what I'm doing on here, btw).

Your poor OH has been going through it hasn't he Seax - like Hypno says though that must be the bad luck done and dusted so bring on the good stuff instead! Hope his ribs are on the mend soon.
