Tom, couple of nice shots of you and your Turtle in European Car mag (Nov 09) from the GGR event at Thunderhill.
Didn't know if you'd seen it yet.
If you don't have the mag it is probably still available or I can send you mine.
Cool!
I've used plenty of Kirkey's in the past, and can't knock them (even if price irrelevant)..........but I always had them installed in cars that at least had a rollbar with an integral harness mount. And a seatback brace. Now this was on cars that had sliders. When I wrecked my RSA that was so equipped, the seat did move on the ...

Looks like a beautiful car. Great color, too. If the various electrical doohickeys under the seats are replaced, I don't see how the water exposure should be any kind of problem. It's not like it sat waterlogged for weeks, or was exposed to salt water, or has mold growing under the carpets. That car is a great opportunity to get ...

Thanks, Nurburger!!! I'm following up for a fellow RLer, who keeps tabs on exotic 911s. We suspected it was the same you shared, & your mention of Crevier now confirms: he had already relayed that he called to inquire about buying it...

I don't know about foreign countries, but I didn't pay a parking ticket when I had a rental car in Denver and 6 years later I get a letter from an attorney demanding the $10.00. I rented it in the companies name but my name was on the credit card. I went ahead and paid it. Chances are you can't run from it. Were you speeding? Mike
JScott is a mind reader, He wrote my exact thoughts. I'll add that each seat/harness/ roll bar solution will be idiosyncratic to the owners physique. Try as many different seats as you can, then be sure that the seat holes allow a straight fetch from your shoulders to the horizontal harness bar. If you use the car on the street, retaining the stock 3 pt belt is a very good idea. They can be used successfully w/ high bolster seats by...
