I thought I used to be able to do this on my Bold, but maybe it was a previous Rogers Blackberry, but when I go to Options->Mobile Network, I don't have an option to manually choose the network to run on. I know it is available on the Rogers Bold. DOes AT&T block this. My application OS is 2.6.0.297. Thanks!
Wow, i'm not the only one having issues. I've been trying to get BBM 5.0 to work but I lose the icon. Also, does anyone know if you need to do the Browser fix?
demetrius -- I installed over and while this isn't the worst 5.0 install its def not the best. I'll be downgrading momentarily.
Ktorres -- my fb didn't make the install so I can't test. I was told that FB didn't work with 5.0.

Facebook doesn't work, bbm5 is working for me, many third party apps are working as well, the trick is downloading them and set the permissions prior to download.

So I'm on 5.0.0.100 and I've been having random restarts in the past couple weeks. Not a huge deal given it is a beta but I would like to go to a build that doesn't do this and have the BB browser back -- I've lived without it and haven't wanted to try the fix because it's not totally necessary for me -- so if this resolves those issues that would be cool. I may just dive in anyway as I have ...

not worth the trouble.
Word is that the 5.0.0.14X builds are almost heavenly... so I guess we have more waiting to do!

that's good to know i don't mind testing/trying them out. this was not the worst upgrade i've ever experienced.
What OS are you running. I've been through plenty of them on the 9000, some good, some decent, some just plain were junk. This is concerning battery life, I'm running 5.0.0.284 on one and it has decent beattery life. I can make it through the day with pretty heavy use. I don't know how .411 is as I haven't loaed it yet. I really don't think that's it's going to make a differance about the size of the card....

Thanks guys, i have been using Ubertwitter for a while now, and i have really enjoyed it, but i think i am going to try tweetgenius. just to see if it offers anything more than what UT does. Sure wish i could get in on that SocialScope... I'm really jealous of those of you who are getting to play with it already... Thank you for all ya'lls opinions... they are valued.
I've had four(4) of them and have not had a single issue with any of them. My only concern is the limited app memory, but other than that all of mine have been terrific.
Your very welcome! I use BBSAK almost exclusively now....simple, clean, and fast. The great thing about bbsak is that no matter how much you screw up, you can reload your backed up apps in a flash! ( or in my case, after Ive reloaded a new beta I can set up my apps quickly again!) Cheers!
One Bold 9000, more than enough. My 8310 was a better BlackBerry in terms of stability, it never crashed, just worked as advertised right out of the box. It was one of the last of the ready to use Blackberry's. The Bold 9000 seemed to come in kit form. One received the handset, but it was not finished and ready to use. The OS was very buggy and we were enlisted by RIM as their lab rats. Here... take this leaked OS, and good luck. In my...

When I first used the Enhanced Gmail Plugin with my Gmail account, the Labels came in automatically. I was so happy this feature was finally available. Then I realized I couldn't add Labels from my BlackBerry... so I figured I would just add them on my PC with the Gmail site, and the use the Update Label List option on the BlackBerry. However, it seems that the Labels are not updating. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I can barely...
